NoorTab is a Chrome extension that replaces the default new tab page with a calm Islamic dashboard for prayer times, reflection, and focus.

Information NoorTab uses

NoorTab may use the following information to provide its features:

• Location information: used to calculate accurate local prayer times.
• User preferences: such as selected location, prayer calculation method, reminder settings, selected wallpaper, and dashboard settings.
• Notification settings: used to send optional prayer-time or daily reminder notifications.

How the information is used

NoorTab uses this information only to provide and improve its main purpose: showing an Islamic new tab dashboard with prayer times, reminders, wallpapers, and related daily content.

NoorTab does not sell user data.

NoorTab does not use user data for advertising.

NoorTab does not track browsing history.

NoorTab does not read or modify the websites you visit.

External services

NoorTab may contact external API services to fetch prayer times or Islamic content. When necessary, location or city information may be sent to those services to calculate accurate prayer times.

Local storage

NoorTab may store preferences locally in your browser using Chrome storage so your settings remain saved between browser sessions.

Notifications

NoorTab may use browser notifications only for optional prayer-time reminders or daily Islamic reminders. Users can disable notifications at any time from the extension settings or browser settings.
